What is Trimble ID
Trimble ID connects SketchUp, 3D Warehouse, Extension Warehouse, subscriptions, and web tools under one account.
Create your account
Create the account from the invitation email, verify the code, and set a secure password before opening SketchUp.
Activate your license
Accept the subscription invitation and check that the license is assigned to the correct user or administrator.
Download & install
Download the current installer, sign in with Trimble ID, and let SketchUp synchronize the assigned subscription.
GDPR & your data
Keep user assignments and personal data under the company account so license changes stay auditable.
Creating a Trimble ID
You need Trimble ID for all SketchUp services: 3D Warehouse, Extension Warehouse, SketchUp for Web, and subscription management.
Activation steps
- You receive a subscription activation invitation.
- You accept it and continue to Trimble ID.
- You check your mailbox and enter the verification code.
- You create a password and finish the account.
- After signing in, the license appears in your Trimble account.

Note: Serial number and authorization code apply only to older classic products. Subscription is activated through Trimble ID only.
Classic serial numbers are legacy only.
Current SketchUp subscriptions are activated through Trimble ID, not through serial number and authorization code.
